Formula 1's return to Las Vegas after four decades was one of the most complex and high-profile new event projects in the sport's recent history. Delivering a night race through the active heart of one of the world's busiest cities, on a street circuit running through the famous Strip, required an organisational and operational structure capable of managing a scale of logistical challenge that few events anywhere in the world present.

Richard brought direct Grand Prix CEO experience to the programme at a senior advisory level, working across both operational and commercial workstreams with a primary focus on operations. His involvement spanned the earliest planning phases through to delivery, providing the leadership team with a consistent point of reference drawn from the experience of building and running three Formula 1 Grands Prix from the CEO position.
