SOCHI
GRAND PRIX
Cregan Consulting partnered with the Russian Grand Prix organisation, under CEO Richard Cregan, to deliver the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix at Sochi Autodrom.
We provided strategic motorsport advisory and operational leadership, overseeing the commercial, operational, and strategic delivery of the event. Our involvement spanned the full event delivery cycle, ensuring the race met Formula 1's operational and commercial standards while establishing the foundations for a sustainable annual event.
Sochi Autodrom hosted the Russian Grand Prix from 2014, with the circuit situated within the Olympic Park built for the 2014 Winter Games. The project required close coordination with government stakeholders, local authorities, and Formula 1 to deliver an event of the required scale and standard.
This project reflects Cregan Consulting's experience operating across complex, government-backed motorsport programmes in challenging regulatory and logistical environments.
