YAS MARINA CIRCUIT

Cregan Consulting partnered with Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management and Yas Marina Circuit, under CEO Richard Cregan, to deliver the first Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

From concept to opening, we provided strategic motorsport advisory, ensuring the client’s vision, values, and long-term operational objectives were protected. We helped define the circuit’s positioning, operational framework, and future flexibility to support growth and ongoing success.

Our team established robust project oversight and delivery structures and developed a world-class venue team capable of running events at the highest international standards. This approach allowed Yas Marina Circuit to open on schedule and operate immediately at Formula 1 level.

The results were clear: five consecutive sell-out Grands Prix, over 500 major events delivered, and recognition as Formula 1’s Best Grand Prix in 2009.
